| Another year has passed and another creation for the annual Scarecrow Festival!
As a tribute to our late Queen Elizabeth II, at St Peter’s we decided to create a scene including Paddington, Corgis, and the Queen. This was a whole school effort, our Reception class made the corgis, KS1 contributed Paddington and KS2 made the Queen. The scene was displayed outside of the main entrance to school surrounded by an amazing balloon arch.
The ‘icing on the cake’ was a wonderful scarecrow crowd scene, supporting the Queen and waving flags. The scarecrows were made by our pre-school, baby and toddler group Peapods. The parents and grandparents obviously had a great time, their contribution to the display looked fantastic.

The children from Y2-Y6 held their annual carol service at St John's Church. The children walked from school during the afternoon, to be watched and supported by parents family and friends.
